How long verification takes
Expected timeframes and what happens if a response takes longer.
Ecctis will, where viable, endeavour to start the verification process within 1 business day of submission.
Average timeframe
Ecctis allows an average of between 5 and 15 working days to verify a qualification.
In some circumstances, verification can take longer. This can depend on the responsiveness of the awarding organisation and the verification route available.
At 15 working days
At the 15 working day mark, Ecctis will provide an update on the process and the methods used to attempt verification.
At 30 working days
Unless you tell us otherwise, attempts will continue for a further 15 working days. At that point, the verification attempt may be closed as Unable to Verify.
